Fruity milk drinks are a staple of many bubble tea shops, the drink’s colourful, layered look makes a very striking appearance!
Ever wondered how to recreate this effect? This may sound difficult, but it’s actually pretty easy! Read on and find out!
Mango milk with boba
It’s not just mango, you can make this with different types of fruit!
What you’ll need
- Mango juice
- Fresh milk
- Brown sugar syrup
- Instant tapioca pearls
How to make
Step 1
Prepare the instant tapioca pearls, and add around 50g cooked pearls to a transparent cup/glass. Add some brown sugar syrup to the cup
Step 2
Add ice cubes to the cup, then pour in the milk
Step 3
Pour in the mango juice slowly – it should stay on top instead of mixing with the milk!
So how does it work? The sugars in the brown sugar syrup and instant pearls makes the milk more dense, so the juice won’t mix together with it. The ice cubes also help keep the layers separate.
Give it a try!
